This project aimed to promote innovation and entrepreneurship development in the Rwenzori region of Western Uganda by leveraging strategic community broadcasting. The project focused on using radio as a tool to disseminate information, share best practices, and inspire local communities to engage in entrepreneurial activities that contribute to regional development.
Supported by Stem van Africa, Netherlands, this project utilized community radio stations to broadcast programs that encourage innovation and entrepreneurship among the local population. By providing a platform for knowledge exchange and inspiration, the project sought to foster a culture of entrepreneurship that could drive economic growth and development in the Rwenzori region.
The project significantly contributed to the growth of entrepreneurship in the Rwenzori region by providing valuable information and inspiration to local communities. Through strategic community broadcasting, the project empowered individuals to pursue entrepreneurial ventures, leading to increased economic activity and improved livelihoods in the region. The initiative also helped build a network of local entrepreneurs who continue to support each other in their business endeavors.
