ToroDev uses ICT Platforms like radios to bridge a gap between citizens and duty bearers, where both citizens and duty bearers are hosted live on radio to have a live debate. Duty bearers are hosted to give accountability and share their work plans and citizens participate through SMSs and call inns. On 19th May 2018 Hon. Ategeka James Mugarura Bunyangabu district chairperson was hosted live on Hits Fm to give accountability of what has so far done in improving service delivery in Health, education, Roads and water sectors since he come in power and the following were his comments;
We have worked with parish chiefs LCI chairpersons, sub county chiefs, PTA& SMC’s to supervise, monitor and hold regular meetings with parents to jointly solve the issue of absenteeism of pupils especially during market days, as a district we have managed to put in place Pri-PLE examination that will always prepare our pupils before they sit for the national examination as one way of improving performance among the learners. I call upon parents to fulfill their responsibilities especially supporting their children with school requirements and basic needs to help them stay in school.
We have constructed 2 class room blocks both at Nyamba B primary school and Kyamuhemba primary school and we are going to give them desks at the beginning of next term. At Katugunda technical school with support from the government we have now worked on 89% and next year the school will open and start admitting students.
On the road sector we have constructed, Kiyombya road and Kasunganyanja, Kadindimi ,Mitande , Buhesi road we have done spot murram we are going to fully work on them after the rainy period .
On the health sector through lobbying we have built a general ward at Kibito health centre IV, we are also finalizing with maternity ward at Kasungayanja health centre III, we are working on Buhesi gravity water scheme which will help supply water to 3 sub counties of Buhesi,Kiyombya sub county and Buhesi town council this will help in improving clean and safe water in the district.
During the two hours live talk show listeners over 40 through call ins & others sent SMS and the following were their comments

“The chairperson should expand Kibito health centre IV and create more space for patients” said Asaba Jamil.
