ToroDev held a one day training for 4 district information and 3 ICT officers from Kyegegwa,Kabarole,Ntoroko and Kyenjojo districts and promoted MML e-participation system

ToroDev for the last seven years has been partnering with district local governments located in   Rwenzori sub region to support the functionality of e-society centers, initiated the District-CSO forums, mobilizes citizens to participate in district budget conferences, supported the district budget conferences among others. In 2016 ToroDev identified a need of some local governments not having websites which was hindering information follow.

 To address the need ToroDev contracted AFRITECH to design 4 district local government websites and link them up with MML system.  The Websites are connected to MML system to allow district officers to be part of the discussion and make decision. ToroDev organized this training to give skills to four (4) district information officers and 2 district ICT officers from the 4 sampled districts of Rwenzori region on website & e-Society information in-put & maintenance.

Conclusively ToroDev aims at improving service delivery improve information follow and use ICT tools to promote accountability among the duty bearers.
