About Us

Established in December 2005 as non-profit organization in Uganda, ToroDev continues to be at the forefront of contributing to the realization of a well knowledgeable and civically competent society that is responsible for her own development processes. We are passionate at improving our society by touching people’s lives, especially in four areas; quality health care, education & skills, economic sustainability and social justice. We utilize the opportunities provided by the digital technology revolution, rigorous data and evidence to pursue our interventions.

Our Values

We are a lean organization which thrives on mutual and respectful collaborations with like minded institutions and individuals. We seek and enjoy empowering others to lead and prosper. Therefore, we humbly work from behind others, without necessarily seeking headlines and recognition.

We cherish clear communication in empathetic ways, and are committed to our cause – even if it means sacrificing our comfort in order to realize such a cause. We recognize that knowledge is key to attainment of wisdom and success of every individual and community or society and, therefore, we always attempt to provide it to all those who need it in our areas of operation. Our cornerstone for motivation to continue offering our service(s) is based on integrity – handling resources in our reach (material, human and financial) with a sense of utmost accountability, dignity, equity and fairness. We also network with those who have been there before us and who can add value to our cause (s). We, therefore, summarize our organizational core values that shape our culture as “CHECK-IN” (Communication; Humility; Empathy; Commitment; Knowledge; Integrity; and Networking).
